The New England Art Exchange is a fine art gallery specializing in 19th and 20th century American prints from the American etching revival of the 1880s through the Great Depression and WPA era and into the mid 20th century. Other works in the gallery include an extensive collection of 19th and 20th century European and Asian works on paper as well as original antique paintings, many in period gilt frames. The entire collection is available on the gallery website, www.neartexchange.com. The New England Art Exchange also accepts consignments and offers restoration services. Owner and founder Ken Spector, a former professor of art, studied at the University of South Florida and earned an MFA in Photography and Printmaking from the University of Montana. The gallery is located at 14 Depot St, Peterborough, and is open 11am- 5pm Monday through Saturday.
